Hello, and welcome... to ChanceSabo.com, my own little slice of the internet. The name's Chance! This site started as a college project, but I've given it a few touch-ups over the years and decided to make a bio/socials site! Here, you can find my socials, see projects I've enjoyed working on, and learn a bit about me. It's come a long way since its conception. This ain't your momma's ChanceSabo.com.

It all started... when I was born.

Well, probably shortly after... My parents got a PlayStation 2 when I was 3, and I was hooked, man. They'd play some of the classics with me like the Scooby Doo, Sly Cooper, and Ratchet & Clank games, and from there, I just kept playing. Eventually, I started encountering new interests over the years that grew me into the nerd I am now. I was a band-kid personality in middle/highschool. I don't watch as much nowadays, but I got into anime. I had an older friend that taught me about PC parts, and building a tower, which got me on PC gaming and computers. I think once Google got a taste of my digital footprint, I was tailored articles and videos of Linux Distributions, Raspberry Pis, and microcomputer projects. Evidently, eventually how to host a website and learning a bit of HTML & CSS. I'm practically a walking book of references and sometimes- Anyways, I love movies and TV, especially Sci-Fi/Fantasy, adult animation/animated anthologies.

The plot thickens, doe!

That stuff led to me taking up a career in IT. After graduating highschool, I wasn't sure what I would want to do for the rest of my life. I use a computer every day, so I figured why not do it for a living? I currently have an Associate's Degree in Cybersecurity, as a Network Specialist, and began working in my career field in December of 2021. Wanna see how it's going(My resume)? I've learned a lot, but I still have a long way to go! I am planning to resume my education into a Bachelor's degree in the coming Fall of 2024. If I could do anything I wanted, though, I think my dream job is to be a voice actor for adult animated shows.

An' I freaked it

I make stuff sometimes! I think some of the surviving band-kid in me has held on to an interest in music. Less... of a classical sense, though, and more of a "would make my band director disappointed" kind of sense. Into a lot of genres nowadays, but I grew into electronic music growing up! Over the last decade or so, I've clicked on the FL Studio icon on my computer when I don't feel like doing anything else. I wanted to try and play with sound waves the way the greats do! Guys like Spag-Heddy, Pegboard Nerds, and Panda Eyes. I get good ideas or melodies in my head, but I can never seem to finish them. Despite that, I've kept up with it, though! I've learned a lot of tips and tricks over the years that make my stuff sound better(Still at a very novice level) everytime I get back to mixing something, giving me a little hope that I might make a few nice tunes some day :,D

With my interests being what they are, I'm kind of into a bit of everything, and like to tinker! If I'm doing a project that requires more computery components, I'll use Raspberry Pis, otherwise, I'll use Arduinos to wire together simple coded contraptions/projects. I got a 3D printer in 2023, and actually have been able to do a few neat things so far, incorportating those micro-computers into the prints. I haven't done a lot of wood-work, or whatnot, but a couple projects required me to modify pieces of wood or plastic, and I really enjoyed that, too. I guess I like to work with my hands!
